Drop Everything, ‘Mystery Science Theater 3000’ Just Hit Vimeo!

Eighty episodes of the beloved cult-comedy movie commentary series, Mystery Science Theater 3000, are now available on Vimeo. That’s right; Joel, Tom Servo, Crow T. Robot, and Gypsy have finally made their way into the digital age so we can re-watch them comment on the worst movies ever made. Seems too good to be true? Well, there is a catch. You have to pay for them.

Similar to Amazon Instant Video, episode rentals start at $2.99, so you can pick and choose your favorites. If you’ve never seen MST3K, first of all, we’re sorry for your incompleteness as a person, but here’s what it’s about: Joel and his robot friends are stuck on the Satellite of Love and forced to watch the worst movies ever made. The series originally aired on a local channel in rural Minnesota back in 1989 before getting picked up by Comedy Central and then Syfy. It lasted a whopping 11 seasons before touching back down to Earth and closing up shop for good.
