Final Shots: Arya Stark From ‘Game Of Thrones’ Watches ‘Saved by the Bell’ For The Very First Time

As hard as it may be for some twenty- and thirtysomethings to believe, not everyone is familiar with Saved by the Bell. As part of their “Teens React” video series, and to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary, The Fine Brothers sat a group of teens (including Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, who’d never seen the show) in front of an episode of the iconic teen sitcom to see what they thought. Although they were frequently confused by the group’s style choices and wary of the show’s saccharine plot lines, it looks like the show still has a hold on high schoolers everywhere.

  • Less than half way through its first season, Guillermo del Toro and Carlton Cuses’s gross-out, viral vampire drama The Strain has been renewed for another year by FX. Based del Toro and Chuck Hogan’s books trilogy of the same name, the show focuses on Corey Stoll’s delightfully-named Ephraim Goodweather, a CDC doctor trying to stop a vampire virus from destroying New York.   • A day after Ant-Man began principle photography in San Francisco, we get our first glance as the title character’s alter ego, Scott Lang. [USA Today]
  • Disney isn’t the only studio with a Jungle Book movie in the pipeline. Warner Bros. and Andy Serkis (in his directorial debut) have their own in the works, which will feature the voice of Benedict Cumberbatch as Shere Kahn (Idris Elba is voicing the character in the Disney film).   • Breaking Bad co-stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul team up for “Barely Legal Pawn,” a hilarious promo for next week’s Emmys (which also features Julia Louis-Dreyfus). [YouTube]
