Final Shots: Watch Out! A Netflix Email Scam Is Targeting Apple Customers

The latest Netflix email scam is targeting Apple customers in the form of a fraudulent bill for services never received. The legitimate-looking emails contain links that direct the recipient to a fraudulent website disguised as the Apple website, prompting you to enter your credit card and billing information.

According to Business Insider, the emails appear as a receipt for purchases made through the target’s iTunes or App Store account — sometimes including a Netflix subscription. There are both “refund” and “manage subscriptions” links, and if you haven’t realized yet, well, God help you, but also don’t click on them! To avoid getting scammed, always remember to check the sender’s email address, as well as the website’s URL before entering your information.
