The Best Man (1999)

If you’re looking for a genuinely fun ensemble comedy, then this is it. Starring Taye Diggs, Terrence Howard, and Nia Long, this one follows a best-selling writer and committed bachelor (Diggs) whose spicy new book is loosely based on his tight-knit friend group. Can the friends survive inspired fiction? You’ll have to watch and find out.

The Sandlot (1993)

We get it — you’ve just finished Stranger Things, and now you need another epic kid adventure dramedy in your life. This cult classic is the perfect choice, especially because few things go better with summer than baseball. However, you better start streaming now. This movie isn’t going to stay on Netflix long.

Death Note (2006)

This one is a big blow if you’re a fan of anime. Death Note is one of the creepiest, most bizarre, and smartly made animes around. Sort of a supernatural crime noir, the series follows Light, a high school student who finds a notebook that allows him to kill people just by writing down their names. Light decides to devote his newfound power to cleanse the world of evil, but his rival, a creepy detective only known as L, is having none of that. Stream the drama before it disappears.
