While the end of Season 6 of the celebrated HBO series Game Of Thrones answered many questions this past weekend, one question/theory still remained: Is Jon Snow really the bastard son of Ned Stark? A new infographic posted by the network depicting the show’s many interlocking family ties confirms that Jon Snow is indeed the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. You can check it out below.

Snow’s true birth parents were something that many viewers speculated about, especially since this new reveal was the case in George R.R. Martin’s series of books A Song of Ice and Fire from which the series was based upon. The new information not only confirms that Jon Snow is a Targaryen, but that he and Sansa Stark are only cousins, not siblings. At this point, however, the only way for him to find out is for Bran Stark (who found out via warg connection) to make it back to Winterfell.
