Serena Williams Vs. Venus Williams: How To Live Stream Their US Open Tennis Match … For Free!

The biggest match of this year’s US Open might not end up being either this upcoming weekend’s Men’s or Women’s Final. Tonight, the reigning queen of tennis takes on her most wily adversary: her own sister.

The buzz is that Serena Williams is the favorite to win this year’s US Open and if she does so, it will be the latest victory in her path to secure her first ever calendar Grand Slam. Williams is three tournament wins away from being the first player to do it since Steffi Graf pulled it off almost 30 years ago in 1988. Williams might be poised to blow away the rest of the ladies’ field, but first she has to beat her big sister Venus. Both Williams sisters have started the US Open shaky, but found their groove in recent matches. Venus tends to do better on hard courts, like the one at Arthur Ashe Stadium, and is the only player who knows Serena’s biggest weaknesses. The match won’t just be good tennis — but good drama.

Serena and Venus are scheduled to tussle at 7 PM ET on ESPN. If you have a cable subscription that includes ESPN, you can livestream the match for free by using the Watch ESPN App. For more on the Watch ESPN app, click here. (You can also visit the official US Open site to stream the match between the Williams sisters, but you’ll have to authenticate via your cable provider.)

If you are a cord-cutter, you can still stream the match! Sling TV’s basic package includes ESPN (and ESPN 2). Sling TV costs $20/month, but first-time users can get a free seven day trial by clicking here. For more on Sling TV, click here.
